OUR STORY
A Vision for Multiplication
Equip for Multiplication (EqX) began with a single, urgent vision: to fulfill the Great Commission by equipping every believer to be a disciple-maker (2 Timothy 2:2) we do this by training in a 3/3’s format called a “Discipleship of Obedience”. We believe that the most effective way to reach our communities is through decentralized, organic discipleship movements that can spread rapidly from person to person and house to house.
We focus our efforts on reaching unengaged populations. Our work spans from vibrant university student communities and hospital patients to providing a second chance for men through the Denton Freedom House. We serve the homeless, support incarcerated individuals seeking a new path through the NPL Academy Prison Ministry, and reach out to five tribes of the indigenous people, the Embera Chami in Colombia. Our goal is for every person to hear the Great News of Jesus and have the opportunity for a meaningful encounter with Him..

Our Mission
Our mission is to advance the Kingdom of God by training believers to initiate and sustain decentralized discipleship movements. We move beyond traditional models to empower everyday people with simple, biblical, and highly reproducible tools for evangelism, discipleship, and church formation. They will be taking the message of hope to a broken world.
CORE STRATEGIES
The EqX Framework
At the center of everything we do is the EqX (Equip for Multiplication) framework. This strategy is built on the Four Fields of Kingdom Growth, taken from Jesus' parable found in Mark 4:26-29. A biblical model for church planting and formation that focuses on:
Entry:
Finding "Persons of Peace" in new communities.
Gospel:
Sharing one's story of going from brokenness to Jesus and the 3-circles evangelism tool.
Church/Leadership:
Forming simple, biblical house churches and raising up local leaders.
Discipleship:
Implementing "3/3rds" discipleship in Discovery Groups called “Discipleship of Obedience”. Using tools to explain their identity and purpose, who to share with, what to share and when to pray and and disciple.

Our Leadership
EqX is led by a dedicated team of practitioners and catalysts, including Bob Palencia and Yoni Arrango (in Colombia), who are committed to not just training these principles, but walking alongside those trained helping them implement the new tools in the harvest field creating a community of disciple-makers.

Nonprofit Status
Equip for Multiplication is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our work is made possible through the generous support of individuals and churches who share our passion for multiplication, the local and global harvest.
